ABOUT
Rothamsted Enterprises is part of the historic Rothamsted Research campus in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and is at the heart of agricultural research. They are a unique hub focused on promoting collaboration and innovation in agritech, and they do this by partnering with commercial agricultural technology businesses and opening up the research process.
Informed by their expertise and experience as the world’s oldest agriscience research centre, Rothamsted offers a range of facilities, including state-of-the-art conference and meeting facilities for 300+ people, flexible office and laboratory space, informal meeting hubs, the light and airy Rothamsted Restaurant, as well as the Grade 1 listed Rothamsted Manor which is available for exclusive event hire, VIP dinners, networking and drinks receptions.
The Campus currently offers around 10,000 ft2 of state of the art lab and office space across two dedicated buildings. The Daniel Hall building houses incubation space with affordable labs and offices, as well as access to shared lab facilities and meeting rooms. The new Lawes Open Innovation Hub offers grow-on and follow on space in a variety of labs and offices, including hot-desking and shared labs.
Future developments include the majestic Russell Building on the front of the Rothamsted campus. This iconic building will offer self-contained and open plan offices in 13,000 ft2 of Victorian splendour.
The Campus is currently home to 22 tenant companies working in agritech, agrifood and related industries and they plan to double this number in 2020/21.
