ABOUT
Mace is a global company of experts in shaping the built environment, headquartered in London and with regional offices around the UK and globally. We provide development, consulting, construction and operations services for many of the world’s most inspiring building and infrastructure projects and programmes.
At Mace Construct, our construction business, we don’t just take on the complex, we take care of it. From large scale, research centres to bespoke high performing laboratories we are delivering some of the most functionally demanding buildings in the scientific sector. We see problems before they arise. Our approach on every project is to see the bigger picture. To always find a better way.
Our broad expertise, as well as our commitment to sustainability, is integrated at every stage of delivery. Experts on the ground working with our specialist in-house consultants and best in class supply chain partners to deliver the highest quality work.
- Our portfolio across science parks and campuses boasts AstraZeneca’s Discovery Centre (The DISC) on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, and the Rosalind Franklin Institute, National Satellite Test Facility and Extreme Photonics Application Centre on Harwell Science Park.
- Newer projects include building research facilities for the University of Oxford on Begbroke Science Park and delivering MSD’s new headquarters and discovery centre in Belgrove House, in London’s King’s Cross.
- Mace has also delivered award winning teaching, research and learning facilities for some of the UK’s leading higher education institutions, including University College London (UCL) and the London School of Economics (LSE).
Our role is not simply constructing buildings – it’s building legacies and creating positive, sustainable impact for our clients and the communities they work in.
Together, we bring ambitions to life.
