Top restaurants sign up to Birmingham’s new digital dining and events club
A new digital club for food and drink lovers has arrived, offering over 50 exclusive member privileges at quality restaurants, bars and cafes across Birmingham.
The DineHub app harnesses mobile technology to help foodies discover the best food and drink in their local area, with an individually personalised newsfeed, events calendar and venue guide.
Diners can search a carefully curated list of 250 recommended restaurants, bars and cafes to find inspiration, browse menus, plan visits and make bookings, for free. Ahmed Ahmed, founder of DineHub, said:

DineHub members
Users who upgrade to member status (£29.99 per year) are treated to a suite of exclusive privileges ranging from complimentary dessert and welcome cocktails, to extra courses and secret off-menu items.
Members also gain access to popular food and drink events at reduced price or free entry.
Every restaurant visit earns them points, which they can spend on tickets to events including Birmingham Wine Weekend and Birmingham Rum Festival.
In addition, an in-app video channel is regularly updated with episodes offering behind-the-scenes access to Birmingham’s chefs, mixologists and restaurant kitchens.
Venues on board
Venues offering privileges include high-end restaurants such as Lasan, Purnell’s Bistro and Tom’s Kitchen, as well as casual independent establishments like The Indian Brewery, Damascena, Amantia and Zindiya.
While many city centre favourites like Hotel du Vin are on board, the suburbs are also strongly represented. Harborne foodie pub The Plough, Kings Heath gem Byzantium and Edgbaston’s El Borracho de Oro are all offering special perks.
The list includes partners in Sutton Coldfield, Shirley and Solihull, with Caffe Botanico and Indico Street Kitchen among venues confirmed in these areas.
The crop also features exciting newer openings like plant-based fast food outlet Fressh and Moseley’s upmarket Dessert Lab.
Bars offering privileges to DineHub members include boutique gin bar 40 St Paul’s, and new addition The Birmingham Whisky Club.
Specialist artisan shops and delis in the partnership include All Greek Deli, Sapori di Sole Italian delicatessen and 1683 Chocolate Place in Knowle.
The full list of venues and details of the 50+ member privileges offered are available to preview within the app, now out for Apple users on iOS and free to download from the DineHub website.
The launch follows the growth of the DineHub team in 2017, with the arrival of a new Technical Director, Daniel Simm, and Content and Social Media Editor Niamh Carpenter.
Formerly known as Dine Birmingham, the company was born in Moseley and now lives at the Innovation Birmingham Campus.
