Milton Park marks £14m Signal Yard launch

Milton Park is officially launching Signal Yard, its new £14m social and retail destination.

Signal Yard is a reflection of Milton Park’s long-term commitment to creating a thriving, mixed-use destination that supports wellbeing, collaboration and community alongside business growth.

Signal Yard is already home to nine independent retail and hospitality businesses, creating a vibrant social heart of Milton Park in Oxfordshire. Set amongst beautifully landscaped public spaces, the destination serves not only the Park’s 280 companies and their employees, but also visitors and the wider local community.

‘Hello Signal Yard’, a public launch celebration on Wednesday 23 September from 4pm to 7pm, will introduce visitors to the destination’s growing collection of independent retailers and hospitality businesses, with complimentary food samples, live music, activities suitable for all ages and free parking.

Philip Campbell, Asset Management Director for Milton Park at Federated Hermes, said: “Signal Yard represents an exciting new chapter for Milton Park and a significant investment in the experience we offer businesses, their employees, visitors and the wider community.

“As one of the UK’s leading science and technology communities, it’s important that we continue to create spaces that support collaboration, wellbeing and connection, alongside innovation and business growth. Signal Yard brings together an exceptional mix of independent businesses, high-quality public spaces and new opportunities for people to meet, work and unwind.

“As the new social heart of Milton Park, Signal Yard  is an important milestone in our 2040 Vision and I’m looking forward to welcoming people on 23 September to celebrate with us.”

Guests will be able to sample Signal Yard’s food and drink offering from 1885 Burgers, vegan café Planted Plates and Day Release by Tap Social Movement. Popular Thai restaurant Chor Muang will also be joining the celebrations.

Alongside the food and drink, guests can enjoy a range of complimentary wellness and lifestyle experiences. Apollo Pharmacy will be providing free health checks and wellbeing advice, while Flex Health Hub will offer free mini massages and tours of their space. Damira Dental Studios will be promoting a teeth whitening offer with free consultations for people that book appointments on the day and The Bros Barbers will provide an exclusive 10% discount. Milton Post Office will also be open.

The celebration will feature live music and performers, while visitors can also enjoy family-friendly entertainment including free drop-in craft workshops, face painting and more.

Hello Signal Yard is free to attend and open to everyone. Places are limited. Please book via Eventbrite: https://www.miltonpark.co.uk/event/hello-signal-yard/
