Multinational microchip design company, EnSilica, has chosen Milton Park in Oxfordshire, for its new global headquarters.

EnSilica’s move to 100 Park Drive follows their impressive record of success over the last few years – leading them to become a PLC and list on the London Stock Exchange.

Founded in 2001, EnSilica focuses on custom application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and software design, providing world-class expertise to companies ranging from start-ups to blue-chips in the industrial, healthcare, automotive, space and communications industries with the aim to expand their offering further within these fields.

EnSilica is occupying 5,800 sq ft of space, comprising offices, meeting rooms, laboratory space, social areas and kitchen facilities. The headquarters will also be used as a hub for hosting and welcoming new and existing customers.

The new base at Milton Park represents a step change for the company and their 125-strong workforce situated worldwide. More than 35 employees are based at the Milton Park headquarters with plans for this number to grow further over the coming months, catering for their increasing success and demand.

Ian Lankshear, CEO and co-founder at EnSilica, said: “We’re delighted to be moving into new premises at Milton Park. Its prestige, access to talent and track record in supporting the growth of science and technology companies made it an obvious choice for us.

“Milton Park has brilliant connections to Oxford and London both in terms of travel links and industry networks – an important factor in our decision-making – as well as a great variety of amenities available and impressive green spaces for our employees to enjoy.

“The Park also provides us with great opportunities to exchange knowledge and collaborate with other companies working across various industries.”

Philip Campbell, Commercial Director at MEPC Milton Park, said: “We’re honoured that EnSilica has chosen Milton Park to be its worldwide headquarters as they continue to grow at tremendous speed.

“EnSilica’s desire for cross-sector collaboration greatly aligns with the ethos we’ve worked hard to cultivate at Milton Park, where plentiful opportunities exist for companies to share knowledge and collaborate with one another.

“We’re excited to see what the future holds for EnSilica and we’ll continue to support them in any way we can.”
