Chesterford Research Park has welcomed Broken String Biosciences as the latest occupier of the newly completed Sidney Sussex Building, which provides more than 56,000 sq ft of research and development facilities for life science companies. Broken String Biosciences develops technologies that enable researchers to directly measure DNA breaks across the genome, providing new insight into genome instability across disease research and therapeutic development. Its proprietary INDUCE-seq® platform enables sensitive, genome-wide mapping of DNA double-strand breaks, supporting applications ranging from genome editing safety to understanding the underlying biology of disease.
