The technical marketing activity, Techmark, of Warwick Science Park has been commissioned to undertake research for University of Warwick spin out Humane Technologies Limited https://humanetechnologies.co.uk, the developer of a novel scientific instrument for the measurement of microbial growth dynamics.
The announcement was made after lockdown 2.0 was lifted to solicit responses from potential users which would inform their future deveopments.
The device is called Microbemeter, a high resolution photometer that enables research labs to undertake continuous growth measuremnts of microbial dynamics in test tube grown cell cultures.
Dirk Schaefer of Warwick Science Park said: ”We are delighted to work with Humane Technologies on refining their future developments. It fits with a number of pressing topics in labs in the commercial and education space.”
Tom Graham of Humane Technologies added: ”Microbemeter has been a great success so far as it increases microbiology laboratory productivity with publication ready microbial growth data and provides an excellent hands-on education tool integrating STEM in life sciences teaching with data under dynamic conditions.
We support customers from highly respected research institutions around the world and we greatly value feedback to improve MicrobeMeter’s capabilities and how to best serve our customers. We are looking forward to the responses and input we are getting from this study by Techmark.”
