Small businesses are rising to the challenges of the pandemic and taking space at an award-winning business park in Runcorn.
Many businesses around the UK have struggled because of the Covid-19 pandemic, however The Heath Business and Technical Park continues to see a flurry of new small businesses.
Lesley Banks, The Heath Business and Technical Park’s Sales and Marketing Manager, said: “Everyone is aware of the desperately challenging time Covid has presented to the business community. However, as we emerge from the pandemic, we can certainly see positive signs of growth here at The Heath with a number of small businesses moving into our accommodation over recent weeks.”
Tom Baker opened his educational consultancy at The Heath on April 30th. Tom works with Destination 219, an organisation that guides student-athletes into sports scholarships at some of the leading universities across the United States.
He said: “We are a bespoke business, and I chose The Heath because the facilities and location are both brilliant. The Heath offers everything that Destination 219 needs to grow and develop as a business, having the onsite café and gym are both huge bonuses too.”
Fiona O’Reilly, Director of DPR HR Consultancy, also moved on site in April.
Fiona, said: “Moving on to The Heath has been fantastic, it’s given me physical and mental space to expand and challenge my approach to work. I’ve already had a couple of clients visit me here and they love the environment. The location is great and it’s easy for people to find – and park! and the facilities are terrific too. I know that if I need to hire a conference room for a day for an event, it will be of high quality and we will be well looked after by the professional and friendly conference centre team. In fact, everyone who works here are incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s lovely to be on a site with a bit of a ‘buzz’ about it and with the diversity of businesses based here. An added bonus is that it is a well-known, adaptable venue and used by the community around us.”
IT specialists HM3 Consulting have also opened an office at The Heath where Director Andy Mellor is based.
Andy, said: “I was keen to have my office in a busy business community and The Heath is the ideal location, close to my home. I know other people who use The Heath facility which has lots of support services for small businesses.”
