Fast growing software development company Snowing Data (team pictured) is the first company to take space with a 452 sq ft unit at The EpiCentre, in Haverhill, that opens this November.
Snowing Data, that has seven employees already is set to double in staff numbers by the end of the year and The EpiCentre with its flexible terms and all-in services is the ideal location for the company.
“We are delighted to be moving into The EpiCentre which will allow us to expand as the company grows. With our new product for start-up businesses The Real Essentials and our Near Source solutions for software development, we needed a location that is great for our employees and able to accommodate our rapid growth. The EpiCentre gives us both with its innovation inspiring environment and excellent facilities,” says Snowing Data CEO Asa Burrows.
Snowing Data provides support to established companies to get IT projects off their desks and to help with their digital transformation. For the growing number of start-ups, it also provides an off-the-shelf professional IT package, so that they can concentrate on launching and growing their business.
In addition, Burrows has set up SKC Games Studio that will also be based at The EpiCentre and is developing an original AAA game franchise with a story that is fictional with a non-fictional context.
The EpiCentre is run by Oxford Innovation, the UK’s leading operator of innovation centres with 26 managed facilities around the British Isles.
Gareth Scargill, commercial director at Oxford Innovation, says: “The innovation centre is the perfect home for a company like Snowing Data which can match its space requirements to the size of its business as it grows and develops. We look forward to working with Asa and the team at Snowing Data and helping it through its business evolution in the coming years,” he adds.
