In May 2019, Taste received a £25,000 grant from the Scott Bader Commonwealth Central Fund. Taste, a UK registered charity that helps implement sustainable technology throughout Nigeria, received the grant to provide education to 3000 adults and children on good water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) practices, give training to 40 Health Promoters and establish two solar powered boreholes of 50,000l daily capacity, 8 tap points for 18,988 people and 8 latrines with hand-washing facilities.
