Potter Clarkson has announced its recent investment in a new London presence following the acquisition of specialist trade mark practice Wildbore and Gibbons. Established for more than 130 years, Potter Clarkson are delighted to bring on board the pedigree and experience of their attorneys to further enhancetheir trade mark offering.
This new London office and team, together with the company’s expansion plans, to include patent attorneys and IP solicitors, further strengthens their full-service IP offering in the capital. However, whilst having a growing presence in London, the firm’s long-established roots remain in Nottingham and this will continue to be their most sizeable operation.
Unlike many other companies, Potter Clarkson have their most significant operations located outside of the capital, and so are able to offer the convenience of a London office with the backing of a significantly lower regional cost base.
The acquisition follows a period of unprecedented growth for the firm, which has seen expansion to meet growing client demand in a number of strategically important locations across mainland Europe. The company has also recently (August 2018) opened a new office in Copenhagen and are currently in the process of moving their Stockholm office to larger premises in Stockholm city centre.
