Discovery Park, the Life Sciences Opportunity Zone for ambitious and growing life sciences companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of science park expert Jane Kennedy to the new role of Chief Business Officer (CBO). The new CBO, who has over a decade of experience of science parks and incubators, will play an important role in building the community of innovative companies at Discovery Park. This will include new tenants for the Park’s Incubator facility, which is expected to open at the beginning of 2022.

Jane brings to Discovery Park extensive experience of building life sciences communities and attracting tenants, driving success at Roslin BioCentre and BioCity Scotland. Via involvement in the UK BioIncubator Forum, the Glasgow BioCorridor, Glasgow’s Clinical Innovation Zone and the University of Edinburgh’s Bayes Centre, she has expertise in developing collaborations to drive innovation and economic growth. Joining from Eden Scott Talent Spark, where she developed management teams and Boards for high-tech companies, Jane spent her early career in advertising and communications.
