Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst are delighted to announce that Samuel Atack will be stepping into the role of Operations Director at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst on 1st April 2025 when current Operations Director Dave Mudd retires.
After four years as Facilities & Estates Manager, Sam has been instrumental in delivering major facilities-led projects while supporting and developing the Operations team. His expertise includes Health & Safety, ESG, strategic oversight, and project management.
With a strong focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement, Sam is passionate about driving service improvements and delivering SBC’s ESG strategy – excitingly, he’ll soon be launching our new campus operations App.
Before joining SBC, Sam worked across UCL’s estate in various roles and in operations at the Sainsbury’s Wellcome Centre. He takes over from David Mudd, who is retiring after leading SBC’s Operations team since its inception in 2011.
Dave Mudd says: “Sam will be a fantastic asset to the SBC executive team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead operations and the strategic plans for the business and the overall campus. I know Sam will succeed in his new role with all the support the SBC team, stakeholders and occupiers. I am confident I leave the SBC facilities in very good hands.”
