A rare Grade ‘A’ listed building on one of Glasgow’s most prominent street corners has been put up for sale with a price tag of offers over £3 million

The biopharmaceutical company has designed and built its own 11,000 sq ft bespoke laboratory and office space at the Translation & Innovation Hub (I-HUB) on Imperial College’s White City campus.

Quell is a life sciences company formed in 2019 to develop therapies for the management and treatment of a range of conditions such as solid organ transplant rejection, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Iain McGill, Chief Executive Officer of Quell Therapeutics said, “The existing shell and core floor at the I-HUB had all the necessary infrastructure to allow us to build the labs and offices to our specific requirements. It’s been a pleasure to work with ThinkSpace and our team is really pleased with the finished result and its new home.”

Matthew Parry, a Director in JLL’s Life Sciences team said, “This is a fantastic letting for Imperial College ThinkSpace and we’re pleased that we were able to advise them on this deal. The life science sector is growing rapidly in London, so we look forward to seeing more deals like this coming through across the capital”.

The I-HUB at White City Campus provides over 187,000 sq ft of laboratories and Grade A offices for companies to co-locate with the Imperial College’s research community and other likeminded technology-based businesses.
