OpTIC Technology Centre – 20th Anniversary Celebration Event – 5th March 2025

The OpTIC Technology Centre celebrated its landmark 20 year anniversary by hosting a special event on Wednesday 5th March.

The event welcomed a large number of industry professionals and former colleagues to reflect on past successes at OpTIC, as well as looking ahead to exciting future projects and developments.

An opening address was provided by Wrexham University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Paul Davies, followed by a series of informative presentations by Professor Caroline Gray OBE, Glyndŵr Innovations, PlantSea, OcuSight and Wrexham University’s Enterprise and Innovation team.

There were also opportunities for delegates to network and share memories with plenty of familiar faces who have all contributed to OpTIC’s success throughout the past 2 decades.

A big thank you to all who attended the event and here’s to the next 20 years and beyond!
