Ten Norwich Research Park researchers have been named in the annual Highly Cited Research 2018 List. Now in it’s fifth year, the citation analysis identifies influential researchers as determined by their peers around the globe – those who have consistently won recognition in the form of high citation counts over a decade.
This list is a measure of the exceptional impact that scientists at Norwich Research Park are making globally and places Norwich within the top 10 for cities in the UK Highly Cited Researchers.
David Parfrey Executive Chair for Norwich Research Park said:
“I am delighted to see that Norwich Research Park has 10 of its scientists in the premier 1% of the world’s most Highly Cited Researchers. This number is up from 2017 and it is a great achievement for Norwich to be in the top 10 of cities in the UK to have received this accolade. It demonstrates the research strength and outstanding achievements of the Norwich Research Park partner organisations.
“The world is facing challenges the like of which we have not seen before; food shortages, climate change, an ageing population. Norwich Research Park is the place where the answers to these global challenges can be found.”
