Norwich Research Park has launched a new global scale-up initiative, BioTransitions, designed to support early-stage agri-food biotech companies progressing from Seed to Series A.
Led by Anglia Innovation Partnership and supported by a three-year sponsorship from Bayer, the programme will help businesses access investment support, intellectual property expertise, advanced technology platforms, field trials, industry networks and commercialisation guidance.
The initiative also aims to attract international agri-food biotech companies to Norwich Research Park, building on the campus’s strengths in engineering biology and innovation focused on agriculture, food security and climate challenges.
Roz Bird, CEO of Anglia Innovation Partnership, said the programme will strengthen links between global agri-food innovation ecosystems and help accelerate solutions to major environmental and agricultural challenges.
