Len Keenan, a specialist copywriter for the life science industry, has taken a virtual office at The EpiCentre in Haverhill, providing him with a postal business and registered office address together with the use of co-working space when needed.
Len who has a background in the Life Science sector, set up his company Emveria Creations Ltd at the end of 2025. He says: I realised my background in the life science and commercial sector meant I had ability to take complex science and explain it to non-technical people.
“This is most important to a company when they are first starting out; so academic spinouts, early-stage start-up companies looking for partners and investors. My main customer are those who have only ever worked in research. I help them translate that research into a language business can understand and act on.”
He and his family live just 10 minutes’ drive from The EpiCentre. “I have already benefitted from being part of The EpiCentre’s community by making contacts with other customers. I have also made use of the business support provided by The EpiCentre’s Innovation Director Gary Jennings who has provided excellent business support and recently ran a course on setting up a new business, that I found useful.”

In his spare time Len Keenan is an avid Formula One fan and is a regular contributor to the new motorsport industry magazine Slicks.
