KJ Tait Engineers

KJ Tait Engineers are a professional practice of Building Services Engineers with offices in Aberdeen, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and Cambridge. Formed in 1978, the firm has extensive experience in all sectors of construction.

KJ Tait Engineers have significant expertise in the laboratory sector, with laboratory commissions that include Granta Park, Cambridge Science Park, Liverpool Science Park the University of Cambridge and Edinburgh Technopole.

In addition to the traditional core Engineering Services disciplines, the Practice embodies in-house expertise in several areas including specialist lighting design, low carbon advice, and facilities management. KJ Tait’s design approach is to meet their Clients’ demands by engineering simple building solutions that minimise complexity.

KJ Tait  strive for excellence in engineering; this culture is reflected in their high level of repeat business from Clients and Architects.

Each Engineer within KJ Tait, including Associates and Partners, has a designated area of specialisation. In addition to their design duties, staff are encouraged to keep abreast of literature and developments in these fields to ensure KJ Tait consistently provide a suitably skilled design service to their Clients.
