Avidity Science

A trusted partner to the global research community providing innovative water purification and delivery systems, Avidity Science was founded in 1969 and acquired by ATS in 2023.

Avidity Science offer a range of laboratory water purification systems and recently launched the Solo™ S, a new Ultrapure water system with reusable cartridges, that’s designed to boost sustainability, reduce plastic waste and offer cost savings.

The Solo™ S has a novel system design that allows plastic consumables to be re-used, instead of disposed of, as part of the AvRecycle™ plan, providing up to 90% reduction in carbon emissions relating to plastic production. The Solo™ S automatically switches to energy saving mode after a period of inactivity, reducing energy consumption for your laboratory and also offers a 5-inch intuitive, icon-based, touch screen and Near Field Communication (NFC) for cartridge identification and traceability, paperless data logging and acquisition capability which meets regulatory compliance, is easily accessible and supports critical research needs.

Avidity Science in the UK is also an exclusive distributor for laboratory equipment, including NuAire CO2 Incubators and Biological Safety Cabinets, plus Systec autoclaves and culture media preparation.

Supporting our product portfolio is our Avidity Science service team, comprising 20 field-based service engineers, fully trained to install, commission, train and maintain our systems for our customers.
