Communicate Technology, a provider of cybersecurity and IT network solutions, has appointed Paul Bryce as group CEO, as the organisation reveals 102% year-on-year growth – following the successful integration of Blaze Networks last year and investment from private equity firm Rockpool in 2024.

With over 30 years’ prior experience among large MSPs, including being a founding member of Node4, Paul brings a desirable and specialised skillset to lead Communicate through its next stage of growth and long-term value creation.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “This is an exciting time to join the Communicate team, as it looks to continue its growth journey. My focus will be on scaling with purpose by shaping strategy, strengthening culture, and promoting an environment where our teams and customers can thrive.

“I’m passionate about creating meaningful, long-term partnerships with businesses and look forward to working with the team to build on the strong foundations already in place as we enter this next phase of growth.”

During his tenure in various leadership positions at Node4, Paul played a central role in growing the business from zero to 1,100 people and £190m in revenue – and was actively involved in 10 acquisitions and three rounds of private equity investment.

Transitioning group CEO and founder of Communicate Tony Snaith will remain on the board as a non-executive director. Welcoming the appointment of Paul, he commented: “Paul joins us at a pivotal moment in our evolution, and his significant track record of successfully leading organisations through high-growth phases gives us complete confidence he will steer the business smoothly into our next chapter.

“His appointment marks a strategic step change for the business, reinforcing our leadership capability and enabling us to not only deliver best-in-class connectivity and cybersecurity solutions, but to expand our offering and create greater value for our customers.”

In 2026, Communicate will continue to scale its core networks business, delivering secure, intelligent, multi-site connectivity to support organisations operating across distributed locations and hybrid working environments. Security capabilities, including the ongoing expansion of its SOC services, will underpin this strategy by supporting customers’ cyber resilience and compliance requirements, alongside the development of its SASE and ZTNA offerings.
