How a Wollaston company found new opportunities at Scott Bader Innovation Centre

A team of former colleagues has turned adversity into an opportunity – by setting up a new company in Wollaston after their employer went bust. Paper merchant paper2print has built up more than 30 contracts in less than a year following the closure of PaperlinX UK, which was based in Northampton before going into administration in April. Richard Wilson and David Melville set up the new firm and employed Darren King and David Riddle, who were also made redundant. The company is based at the village’s Scott Bader Innovation Centre, which Richard says has provided the perfect base to launch a new business from.
