Modern Networks joins forces with Bridge Fibre to drive ISP growth and extend its product portfolio

Bridge Fibre has announced that the company has joined forces with Modern Networks. The investment is part of Modern Networks long term strategy to grow the business via both organic and inorganic growth following investment by Horizon Capital in April 2021.

Better together

Bridge Fibre and Modern Networks say the agreement will create a stronger and a more competitive company. The merging of the businesses expands Modern Networks ISP offering, adds additional regional coverage and strengthens their position in the commercial property sector.


Accelerated growth

The combined Modern Networks/Bridge Fibre business will now operate on a larger scale, serving over 2,500 ISP customers across 1,800 commercial properties and 40 multi-tenanted science and business parks throughout the UK. Their customers are supported by a growing team of 150 employees working from four sites in Hitchin, Cambridge, Manchester and Guildford.

No changes for now

Initially, Bridge Fibre and Modern Networks will continue to trade under their existing brand names however overtime Bridge Fibre will be integrated into Modern Networks. Bridge Fibre customers can rest assured that the services and support they enjoy today will remain unchanged and Modern Networks are equally committed to providing excellent customer service.
