3PM, GXN, and Oxford Properties invite you to the launch of an initiative to support laboratories’ transition towards a low carbon future on 15th May, 6pm, Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Rd., London NW1 2BE.
You’ll hear from some of our collaborators, industry leaders and experts in the sciences ecosystem. We will discuss how to enable organisational change in science, improve operations within labs to support sustainable behaviours and what to consider during the design and construction of lab buildings.
Science organisations are setting ambitious climate targets, with some deadlines coming as soon as 2030. While the urgency of the move towards decarbonisation is a given, how we get there is less clear.
Based on in-depth research with more than 50 lab owners, operators, and developers, ‘Transforming to Zero’ provides practical guidance on decarbonising laboratories and life sciences buildings.
Contributors to the project include:
Oxford Properties | Innovate UK | BBSRC | Leesman Index | British Land | The Pirbright Institute | Imperial College London | University College London | University of Cambridge | The Francis Crick Institute | GSK | ADC Therapeutics | Domainex | Multus | RNC Power | The Institute of Cancer Research
We are pleased to reserve a limited number of free tickets for UKSPA members.
