2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of the incorporation of York Science Park, and we have spent the last 25 years building a reputation as a home to genuine innovation. We continue to support start-ups, and SMEs by providing them with the ideal environment to help nurture their business.

Home to Innovation

Residents gain access to cutting edge research facilities at the University of York, including the most comprehensive suite of bioscience laboratories in the North of England with a Biorenewables Development Centre, the UK’s premier Plasma Research Centre, and a Nanocentre hosting one of the world’s most powerful microscopes.

Companies can also benefit from innovative collaborations with University departments such as Computer Science, Electronics, Biology and Mathematics and the York Robotics Labs. The University also offers state of the art film and production facilities at the Department of Theatre, Film and TV.. Just as valuable, companies can access top quality students and graduates through internship schemes, placements and direct recruitment.

The University’s Research and Enterprise Directorate, based at York Science Park, has a dedicated team to assist those wishing to access the expertise and facilities of the University of York. Conference & Meeting Room Facilities

We offer a full range of conference and meeting services across our 14 meeting rooms, designed to suit a variety of events from small interviews, to conferences for up to 60 people.

We also offer an excellent range of the very latest equipment, including video conferencing facilities to accommodate long distance meetings.
