Spring Online Members' Conference

UKSPA gathered virtually on Thursday 18th March and Friday 19th March 2021. The two-day member drop-in conference provided a timely opportunity to consider in more detail a number of critical issues and the implications for the sector.  Looking at the opportunities facing us now, as well as mid and long-term, that will help shape innovation and drive sustainable growth.

The themes running through the two-day conference included:

Sustainability: Discussing sustainable development in all its forms and the challenge of zero-carbon transformation.

Investment and growth: Current trends and developments for science and innovation locations in town and country.

Building Better Businesses: Sharing good practice on incubation, bio-incubation and business acceleration.

The New Office: What will be the future requirements for office-based companies?

Exploring the new laboratory: laboratory operation, future design and environment.
