Make is a global architecture practice with 150 employees in London, Hong Kong and Sydney providing architecture, interiors and urban design services from concept to completion, across a range of sectors.
With over a decade of experience in science and research, we understand the kind of world-class facilities that groundbreaking research requires.
Since 2007 we’ve delivered seven laboratory buildings – one for the University of Nottingham and six for the University of Oxford, including the Old Road Campus Research Building, where the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine was developed – and over ten masterplans, including Newcastle Science Central.
We design to attract the world’s best researchers. Our buildings unite cutting-edge laboratory spaces with the best of today’s commercial workplace to promote innovation, collaboration, and user wellbeing, while our masterplans create sustainable, integrated, and vibrant places with strong identities and connections to surrounding communities.
Each project responds to its environment, reflects our client’s reputation and goals, and provides an inspiring environment for researchers, staff, academics, students and visitors.
