The United Kingdom Science Park Association (UKSPA) is looking to appoint a Membership & Engagement Coordinator.

The position of Membership & Engagement Coordinator is an exciting and high-profile new role at UKSPA, that will combine:

  • Member Support: Dealing with members’ enquiries and requests for assistance and information.
  • Member Engagement: Utilising a variety of social media platforms, as well as website, email & print.
  • Event Management: Coordinating both physical and virtual member events.
  • Membership/Finance Administration: Processing applications, renewals and managing finance tasks.

The role is ideal for someone with a flair for communication and engagement, who also has a strong background in office systems and financial administration, and with an eye for detail. The role is suited to remote working, while there will be an occasional requirement to work away from home for 2-3 days at a time when managing conference events – approximately 3 times per year. This lively and varied post requires an enthusiastic self-starter who can multi-task, work to deadlines and take the initiative. The post involves a high level of interaction with members and stakeholders of all levels of seniority, so the post-holder must combine a professional approach with a friendly and welcoming manner. The post-holder would also benefit from a background or interest in science, technology, innovation, business support and R&D.
