Oxfordshire based landscape architectural practice and UKSPA member, ASA Landscape Architects has announced a new Practice Director within their established practice, joining existing Practice Director Carolyn Place.
The appointment to the role has been announced as Veronica Flemming (pictured left) , a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in commercial developments and public realm schemes, whilst integrating ecological functionality and biodiversity.
She will join Carolyn Place and Katie Dixon as part of the leadership team, driving innovation and ensuring ASA continues to deliver award-winning landscapes that support vibrant communities and leave a positive impact for people and the environment.
Veronica Flemming said: “I am thrilled to be appointed as Director of ASA Landscape Architects. It has never been a more critical time for our profession, as we design landscapes that support all sectors of the community as well as assisting our clients in developing schemes that enhance their environment, be that through biodiversity, flood mitigation or climate resilience.
We have seen considerable growth in the Oxfordshire and Thames Valley science and technology sector, and I look forward to continuing working with our fantastic staff and clients to deliver projects we are proud of.”
Since being founded 30 years ago, ASA Landscape Architects have established themselves as specialist Landscape Architects of Science parks, business parks and commercial landscapes, particularly in the South-East of the UK.
The landscape design side of the business boasts an approachable and experienced team, with an enviable roster of projects from Milton Park in Abingdon, Winnersh Triangle in Berkshire, through to Norwich Business Park, Norfolk, picking up numerous awards for their projects along the way.
The company also has extensive experience in managing landscape maintenance contracts for business parks and commercial developments, ensuring clients get best vale and service from their landscape maintenance contractors, resulting in multiple BALI National Maintenance Awards for our client teams. In addition, ASA Landscape Architects can provide Landscape Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) or Landscape Visual Appraisal services, as is often a planning requirement for more contentious schemes, or those sited in sensitive locations.
Director Carolyn Place said: “We are delighted to welcome Veronica as Director to ASA, having worked with her for numerous years I know that she will bring a fresh energy and perspective to the company as we continue to grow and develop as a company.”
