ABOUT
Alderley Park is an internationally-recognised life science and tech campus, located in Cheshire, just outside Manchester. Part of the Bruntwood SciTech network of thriving innovation districts, the 400 acre Park boasts over 1m sq ft of lab and office space including the newly opened Glasshouse which offers 150,000 sq ft of coworking, serviced, managed and leased workspace ideal for tech entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups, as well as larger businesses.
The campus offers biology and chemistry labs of differing sizes, as well as a coworking lab and a range of scientific services. There is also an onsite Accelerator operated by leading life science incubation specialist BioCity Group, which provides bespoke programmes of business support and access to an extensive network of entrepreneurs.
The campus also offers a wide range of amenities including a gym, sports facilities, walking and cycling routes and on site cafes and restaurants. It also has a 232 seat auditorium and meeting rooms in the onsite Conference Centre and regularly hosts science seminars and conferences such as BioCap and BioInfect.
The AMR Centre, Medicines Discovery Catapult and the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute are all based at the Park, together with over 200 of the UK’s most innovative life science businesses working in areas such as medtech, oncology, toxicology and digital health.
The campus has Enterprise Zone status providing rate relief and contributions to capital investment of up to £50,000 per year for 5 years, if applied for before 31 March 2021.
