pSiMedica Limited is a leading global drug delivery company developing miniaturised sustained release drug delivery products designed to revolutionise treatments in the areas of ophthalmology, cardiology and oncology.

Applications are invited for the post of Formulation Scientist within the Pharmaceutical Sciences Group located in Malvern Hills Science Park.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the formulation of proteins and small molecules associated with the development and advancement of our novel drug delivery technologies.

Applicants should ideally have experience in the formulation and development of controlled release drug delivery systems, with experience of a range of active substances.

The ability to conduct preformulation characterisation and formulation development using standard procedures as well as novel approaches is highly desirable. Working as part of a small team we are looking for a self-motivated individual who is proactive, innovative with good problem solving skills.

You should hold a primary degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Industrial Chemistry or other relevant discipline. A post-graduate qualification in a relevant area would be desirable, but not essential.

Additionally you should have 2-5 years experience of working within a pharmaceutical R&D environment. We offer a competitive salary with a pension plan and private healthcare together with 25 days paid holiday per year.
