Barclays has become the fourth partner to join Innovation Birmingham in delivering a new incubation facility at the Campus’ upcoming £8 million iCentrum® building.

Barclays will launch a 2,500 sq ft business incubator which will feature within the Serendip® Smart City Incubator; designed to drive innovation and open up a wealth of opportunities for tech start-ups.

Work starts on high-tech science and technology centre

Work has now started on the £10.1m centre which will provide high specification laboratory and workshop space for science and engineering businesses in Wolverhampton.

The Science, Technology and Prototyping Centre is being built on land at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park.

A ground-breaking ceremony was held at the site this week (Tuesday 16 February) to mark the start of work.
