Introduction
Harwell Innovation Centre Opened in 2000, Harwell Innovation Centre is one of the largest centres managed by Oxford Innovation. Located on the Harwell Oxford Campus, with just over 25,000 square feet of office space, and offices ranging from 107 square feet to 1,600 square feet, Harwell Innovation Centre has the facilities and infrastructure to support over 60 companies at any one time.

Harwell Oxford is home to the headquarters of United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. The Campus is currently enjoying a vast amount of investment and publicity, which includes the recent opening of the Diamond Light Source, the largest UK-funded scientific facility to be built for over 40 years.

Fully equipped conference facilities Harwell Innovation Centre is the result of an exciting collaboration between Oxford Innovation and Harwell Oxford – a joint venture between the UK Atomic Energy Authority, STFC and Goodman International Ltd. Harwell Oxford is a vibrant and growing community of science and technology based innovation and enterprise including major national and international science projects and facilities. Over 4,500 people work on the campus in some 100 organisations.

Today the Campus is the focus of some £500m of investment in new science and business facilities, the jewels in the crown being the Diamond Synchrotron, the UK's largest investment in science for 40 years and ISIS, the world's largest pulsed neutron source.
