Premises The BioQuarter provides a full range of facilities, from incubator space for entrepreneurial companies to develop as well as serviced accommodation for growing companies and custom-built space for larger organisations. The University has 90 'embedded' academic offices in the new Royal Infirmary, maintaining the long-established integration of clinical and academic staff. The collaborative nature of Scotland's research provides access to a wide network of scientists with the Scottish Academic Health Sciences Collaboration linking universities and hospitals in collaborative programmes aimed at developing the latest medical research, speeding delivery of new drugs and treatments to patients through clinical trials.
