The Park aims to provide an environment for growth by offering companies all the services and support they need to be successful. The York Science Park development now spans four incubation buildings – Innovation Centre, Bio Centre, IT Centre and The Catalyst – grow-on space in Enterprise House and pre-incubation space in Springboard. Situated on the University of York Campus, at the innovative hub of a prestigious heritage and science city, York Science Park plays a pivotal role in the technology transfer and business development for the city's knowledge, bioscience, creative, media and IT-based enterprises. It provides high specification, fully serviced and managed business accommodation in a highly professional and dynamic environment.

The Bio Centre provides access to the University of York's outstanding expertise, research and facilities in the fields of Bioscience, Biology and Chemistry. The new incubator is co-located with Theatre Film & TV, Computer Science, The Ron Cooke Hub, and Law and Management, giving residents unique access to the facilities and expertise of the University of York, a world top 100 university and the current Times Higher Education University of the Year.

Springboard is York Science Park's exciting new incubation space for pre start-up companies. Springboard residents benefit from being located in the Ron Cooke Hub at the very heart of the University's new campus, providing a unique opportunity for creative engagement between businesses, entrepreneurs and the academic community.
