UNIP seeks to attract high-tech and innovative companies which have synergy with the University's research, teaching and knowledge transfer activities, focusing on green tech, clean tech, ICT, satellite navigation and other high-technology applications. UNIP offers spin-out and spin-in space in close proximity to leading-edge research departments and technical facilities and support.A flagship development, UNIP is based on the University's award-winning Jubilee Campus, acclaimed nationally and internationally as an exemplar in brownfield regeneration, and providing a vibrant and dynamic environment for business interactions. Jubilee Campus is a 60-acre development, Phase 1 of which was master planned by Sir Michael Hopkins and Phase 2 by Ken Shuttleworth. It is located one mile from The University of Nottingham's main campus, University Park, and two miles from Nottingham city centre. UNIP's proximity to the University of Nottingham gives businesses an advantage in accessing academic and research services and facilities.
