What: MICRA Showcase

The MICRA Showcase will include a showcase of products, services and technologies developed by UK Universities, and perspectives from University researchers and commercialisation experts who are involved in the translation of research into enterprise.

The event will include panel discussions providing perspectives on big questions such as:

What sort of new solutions will support independent living in an ageing society?

How is artificial intelligence transforming the economy, and society?

How do we design a new business model for a circular economy?

MICRA – or the Midlands Innovation Commercialisation of Research Accelerator, offers a single gateway to engage with eight Universities in the Midlands

Extensive network of collaborations: Energy Research Accelerator (ERA), High Performance Computing (HPC), ESRC Doctoral Training Partnership

 The MICRA Gateway is provided by the Midlands Innovation group of universities in the West and East Midlands through the Midlands Innovation Commercialisation of Research Accelerator (MICRA) project funded by Research England.
