Contemporary prints work for Granta Park's new-look building

Cambridge corporate art specialist Works in Print has supplied a collection of contemporary art for the newly refurbished McClintock Building at Granta Park.

The collection features a variety of Cambridge scenes in black and white including the River Cam at Jesus Green, Sidney Sussex College and punts. The works have been created using digital imaging technologies specifically to fit in with the new-look interior of the building.

Works in Print’s Director Patrick McCrae said: 'It was an exciting task working closely with Roz and her Facilities Manager to create a series of 11 themed pieces of art of Cambridge Scenes on subscription. We harnessed a unique aspect of our digital technology to create the black and white sets.'

Works in Print offers a changing display of contemporary art to which clients subscribe from as little as less than £2 a week and every six months the artwork is exchanged for something new. Clients can choose from a growing catalogue of images, which are grouped thematically, to include scenes of Cambridge and its localities; land, sea and skyscapes; urban and townscapes; floral and figurative studies. Bespoke works can also be produced. All prints are double-mounted in handmade frames and under glass.
