ict active for UKSPA
Two more UKSPA properties have become ict active.
The Venture Centre and the Business Innovation Centre, which is the University of Warwick’s Science Park, have joined the other seven UKSPA members who are already registered as ict active.
The Venture Centre has achieved the highest level possible, Leading Edge, making it a flagship property for the scheme.
David Grindrod, Deputy Director of the two properties, says, “We signed up to ict active because we believe if offers the opportunity to promote our ICT infrastructure including our close working relationship with WarwickNet and set us apart from competitors.
“We believe that as the accreditation scheme gains more recognition nationally it will continue to increase its value to premises and as such we are delighted to be accredited. We are also the first science park in the West Midlands to achieve the mark – which we value as a mark of our quality".
The two Warwick properties are the latest UKSPA members to become ict active.
The other sites are;
- The Wilton Centre,
- York Science Park IT Centre,
- Leeds Innovation Centre,
- Leeds Innovation Hub,
- Leeds Bioincubator,

ict active is the national standard for the provision of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in office buildings.
