Liverpool Science Park celebrates its fourth anniversary in the year of innovation

As we enter the year of health, well-being and innovation, Liverpool Science Park celebrates its fourth year of operations. Recognised as the second fastest growing Science Park in the UK (after only Cambridge Science Park) and with three prestigious awards under its belt, including the Your Move Commercial Building of the Year 2009 for Innovation Centre 2 (ic2), Liverpool Science Park has much to celebrate.

The Park’s unique offer, high specification infrastructure and flexible approach has attracted over 50 companies from the range of sectors within what is known as the commercial knowledge market. Its first building Innovation Centre1 (ic1) has maintained full occupancy for the last 12 months and Innovation centre 2 (ic2) which opened in 2009 has already attracted five interesting tenants from a range of knowledge sectors.

In keeping with this year’s theme, Liverpool Science Park will be running a series of events to reflect and support the exciting and innovative activities at the Park. The first is the high-profile, Knowledge Economy Business Breakfast, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 27 January at 8.30 in ic2. For more information about this and other forthcoming events please visit the website www.liverpoolsciencepark.co.uk.
