Ten years on and still going strong
A Coventry training company has celebrated a decade of success with its neighbours – and landlords!ATL Solutions was set up at the turn of the Millennium and, ten years later, is still going strong from its base at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre in Binley. The firm provides bespoke training programmes for a range of Microsoft applications and NVQ qualifications in IT, Customer Service, Business Administration and Leadership and Management. ATL Solutions, which has tripled in size since being established by directors Fred Noble and Helen Brewster, shared cake with staff at the Business Innovation Centre before hosting a buffet for other residents at the site, where more than 20 high-tech and innovative companies are based. The company boasts clients such as the NHS, the Learning and Skills Council, West Midlands Ambulance Service, West Midlands Police and Local Government Ombudsmen. Helen put the success down to moving with the times and responding to clients’ needs. She said: ‘In ten years, the world has changed dramatically and it is important that you don’t stand still or you will fall behind. We have placed huge emphasis on working with our clients, getting to know their needs and developing solutions for their business. No two companies are exactly the same and, therefore, their training programmes shouldn’t be either.’ Karen Aston, the centre manager of the University of Warwick Science Park’s Business Innovation Centre, said ATL Solutions’ tenth anniversary was an achievement of which to be proud. She said: ‘ATL Solutions was one of the first companies to take residence here and we are all delighted to see them go from strength to strength over the years.’ Pictured (L-R): Fred Noble, Helen Brewster, Lisa James, Catherine Dartall, Karen Aston, Jane Talbot (both from BIC).
