Celebrating Entrepreneurial Excellence at the Imperial Incubator

The Imperial Incubator yesterday held a graduation event and technology showcase. The event celebrated the achievements of exiting companies Cortexica, Microtest DX, Dearman, and RespiVert. The ceremony saw the graduating companies receiving awards presented by Imperial College London’s President, Professor Alice Gast, following speeches by Imperial’s Vice President (Development & Innovation) David Gann, and Imperial Innovations CEO Russ Cummings.

Exeter Science Park responds to client demand for high bandwidth ICT connectivity


Exeter Science Park has announced the installation of its fully resilient, high bandwidth ICT connectivity, cementing their ambitions to be a hub for technology companies in the South West.

HORIBA, World Leader in Automotive Excellence, Acquires MIRA in Historic Sale

HORIBA – a world leader in automotive test systems – is expanding its operation through the purchase of the global advanced vehicle engineering, research and product testing business operated by MIRA. 

The investment, which was completed on 14 july 2015, will see HORIBA expand its current portfolio, with a move into vehicle engineering and testing consultancy. 

M-SParc - Menai Science Park - included in expanded Anglesey Enterprise Zone

The boundaries of Anglesey Enterprise Zone are to be extended to maximise economic benefits for the region.

The announcement was made on Tuesday July 21by Economy Minister Edwina Hart who is hosting a meeting of the Enterprise Board chairs in North Wales. 

The new sites include the West Anglesey Demonstration Zone, a 37 square kilometre of seabed off the west coast of Anglesey, and Cefn Du, the 21 hectare site in Gaerwen earmarked for the Menai Science Park (M-SParc).
