30 low carbon start-ups for Innovation Birmingham’s incubation programme

IB0 early-stage low carbon business have embarked on the Climate-KIC Accelerator programme, led by Innovation Birmingham. In addition to receiving a structured programme of support and office space, two thirds of the start-ups will receive up to €10,000 of grant funding to take their product to market.

Figures announced this month from Thomson Reuters has placed Norwich as 4th city in the UK for the number or scientists ranked in the global list of the top 1% by publication citation.

With 12 scientists featuring in the list from across the Norwich Research Park - from The Sainsbury Laboratory, University of East Anglia and John Innes Centre - Norwich is placed fourth behind Cambridge, London and Oxford.
