OxyMem (www.oxymem.com), a University College Dublin spin-out company, is delighted to announce that it has won the first Water Innovation SME Award in Europe for Membrane Technologies.
The Award was presented to the company at the Water Innovation Europe 2014 conference, organised by WssTP, and held last week in Brussels, Belgium.
As part of the International Festival for Business Science & Technology week, open innovation consultancy yet2.com, along with Unilever, is hosting a free event at Liverpool Science Park on 26 June 2014 to introduce the concept of open innovation portals to technology innovators, and how they can learn more about the technology needs of large companies and engage with them for potential collaborations.
Pupils from Oxfordshire schools visited Begbroke Science Park to attend the annual Nano Schools Day on 11 June 2014. Forty-four year 8 and 9 pupils from Wheatley Park, Wallingford and Larkmead Schools took time out of their normal day to discover the fascinating world of Nanotechnology.
Open Innovation is the key focus of a series of lectures and master classes which will be delivered by Professor Wim Vanhaverbeke, Professor of Strategy and Innovation, University of Hasselt, Belgium, as part of the upcoming InterTradeIreland All-Island Innovation Programme.
These events take place in Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) and NUI Galway from 6-9 May 2014.
