Focus Groups

About UKSPA Focus Groups

People join UKSPA in order to:
  • Share information
  • Benchmark
  • Keep up-to-date
  • Identify good practice
  • Promote what they do
  • Meet informally with like-minded people
UKSPA feel that Focus Groups improve communication between members by helping you to meet in smaller groups to get to know each other better, focus on the issues most important to you and share information.

Current  Focus groups include:
  • Personal Development and Support Focus Group
Membership includes Wolverhampton, York and Loughborough Science Parks which meets outside normal UKSPA meetings
  • UKSPA ICT Focus Group
set up by Tamar and Manchester Science Parks which had a successful launch meeting of IT Specialists in 2007
  • UKSPA Biotech Focus Group
which enables those representing this sector to meet each other face-to-face at members’ meetings
  • UKSPA Incubation Focus Group
  • UKSPA Focus Group 2
set up at the Langstone meeting 2007 and including George Walker, Andrew Gordon, Steve Moss, Jane Davies, Jonathan Burroughs, Terry Bardell and Richard Ball
  • UKSPA Business Affiliates Focus Group

  • UKSPA Marketing Focus Group

Would you like to be part of a themed group such as IT or Marketing, or a more general group where the issues may be wide but you meet in the same group each time to get to know each other better?
