The seminar and networking forum will give aspiring entrepreneurs and young healthcare businesses an insight into how to start-up, fund and grow innovative new companies. The programme includes practical support and guidance such as how to engage with Technology Strategy Board schemes and how to make the most of R&D tax credits, as well as 'what makes a fundable company'.   • Jeff Errington, Director of the Institute for Cell and Molecular Biosciences at Newcastle University – BBSRC Innovator of the Year (2009), founder of Prolysis and Demuris, on the challenges of setting up a biotech
  • Zahid Latif, Head of Healthcare at Technology Strategy Board – how to engage with Technology Strategy Board programmes
  • Colin Haley, Partner at Confluence Tax on R&D tax credits for SMEs
  • Martino Picardo, CEO at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst on open innovation and new ways of working across the interfaces
