Catalyst Inc search for new CEO

Following Norman Apsley's decision to retire as CEO of Catalyst Inc, Belfast, the search is on for a new CEO.
Their advert reads:

Catalyst Inc. believes that innovation has the power to transform Northern Ireland into one of Europe’s most entrepreneurial and inclusive knowledge economies by 2030.

Achieving this vision requires a relentless focus on maximising the potential in health and life science, data analytics, automated intelligence, food science, creative media and other emerging tech sectors. As a world-class innovation ecosystem, we provide the home, networks and empathy to nurture the talent required to develop peerless products and services.

Such far-reaching ambition requires visionary leadership.  With inspirational guidance and direction over the past 18 years we’ve made momentous progress. We now require a new visionary CEO to take us even further. An experienced commercial strategist; an innovation champion; a relationship builder; a straight-talking pragmatist; a fearless free-thinker.

These qualities are rare enough on their own, so finding them in one person will not be easy. However, it’s a search we relish, because we know that putting the right leader in place is fundamental to achieving our vision of a community of local innovators so powerful that it can change the world.

Candidates are invited to email a curriculum vitae with covering letter, detailing their relevant experience and outlining why they believe they are perfectly placed to become our next CEO.

Send all correspondence to: ceo.catalyst@kornferry.com

Closing date for applications is 12noon, Monday 9th July 2018.
