Sci-Tech Daresbury supports the Business of Science

Leading innovators and businesses have backed an industry event showcasing the importance of scientific discovery.

Internationally recognised science and innovation campus Sci-Tech Daresbury, the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and global consumer products group PZ Cussons are amongst new sponsors of the Business of Science Conference.

Returning sponsors already announced include BASF, Grant Thornton, Redx Pharma and the University of Bolton.

Commercial law firm Pannnone Corporate and global designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists Arup have also pledged support for the conference, to be held in Manchester on May 18th at the Museum of Science and Industry.

The Skills and Growth Company, which supports business growth and skills development in the region, has also backed the event.

High-profile speakers include Sir Richard Leese, leader of Manchester City Council, and Richard Carter, managing director UK and Ireland for BASF.

Early bird tickets priced at £75+VAT are available via the Business of Science Conference website www.businessofscience.co.uk until  Wednesday, January 18th. After this date, tickets will cost £95+VAT.
