Mark's & Clerk's Life Sciences Report 2014: Genome 2.0. was launched at the 2014 BIO International Convention in San Diego and examines the state of innovation around the genome and associated -omes.

IM&C Reportn this year's report, Marks & Clerks have reviewed patent filing data in three key areas: sequencing technology, personalised medicine and synthetic biology.

Each showed distinct trends in terms of who is filing patent applications and where.Just over a decade on from the mapping of the human genome, our knowledge of the genome continues to grow and its application is having a significant on the way we diagnose and treat patients.
