Recognising Excellence in Innovation: Design, Delivery and Achievement
UKSPA Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements and activities of members from Science Parks, Incubators, Innovation Centres and the wider innovation movement in the UK.
Today, perhaps more than any other, we need to promote and publicise the achievements of members and their tenant companies and the impact that is made to the local, national and international economy.
The Awards celebrate individual as well as corporate achievement and the categories have been chosen to ensure that all members have the opportunity of participating in the programme.
Application forms for the Awards are available below together with with information on the deadlines for submission.

The Award recognises a building or project that demonstrates environmental sustainability - The applicant must show how they have designed a building, developed a product or implemented a process that is an exemplar of environmental sustainability. Examples might include a site or building using new sustainable technologies, a new piece of technology that helps to re-cycle waste, or a new process that replaces one that presently harms the environment.
The Award for the UKSPA Member with the most successful project: This Award recognises the most innovative approach to managing a local project with proven exceptional outcomes. The projects may demonstrate international collaboration, educational outreach, regeneration, a successful promotional project, creation of a successful network or indeed any special project of the applicants choosing.
The Award for the most successful company at an UKSPA Member location: Success can be defined in different ways, but likely factors within applications will be able to demonstrate exploitation of innovative thinking, development of a new technology, product or process, innovative use of finance, exploitation of new markets or creation of new employment opportunities.
The Award for the UKSPA Member seen to be “setting the pace”: For the member making the most significant contribution to the exploitation of the knowledge base, developing innovation capacity in the UK, and proven ability to actively support the growth of knowledge-based firms.
